Our last days of summer

We decided this year to make the most of Berlin's beautiful summer and spend the last warm day on a boat – taking in the city views via the river Spree. Despite the grey and rainy morning, the sun came out in time for us to board and by the time we were set to cruise off, everyone was on the deck with Prosecco in hand.

Starting at the landing dock of the Historic Harbor, we cruised through Museum Quarter before ending our adventure under the iconic Oberbaum Bridge. In keeping with the environmentally sustainable goals of our company culture, we chose an electric over diesel boat, which, with the bonus of a quieter engine, allowed us to enjoy our party playlist to the full.

From boat to beach

The party didn’t end there though. Once off the boat we headed to Escobar, an ideal terrace that overlooks the Badeschiff beach and boasts spectacular panorama views of the river Spree and its surroundings.

Our hard-working team were able to relax, take in the views, enjoy a great meal, and dance the night away. And for those who were feeling energetic, our organizers had arranged a ‘summer quest’ where teams could compete in different challenges.

Despite a few sore heads in the morning, it was a great way to end the summer and bring in Autumn together.
